Flight Brothers of Philadelphia Part Ways

Hughes would play 1.5 seasons for the Philadelphia 76'ers. The combination of Allen Iverson and Hughes did not live up to expectations. In two seasons as a reserve for the 76'ers Hughes would posted the following numbers.

Hughes would be traded to the Golden State Warriors after 50 games in the 1999-2000 season. This would mark a pivotal change in Hughes career. He would become a full time starter for the Warriors for the remaining 32 games of the 1999-2000 season.

According to Hughes NBA.com Bio "averaged 22.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 40.8 minutes in 32 games with the Warriors…scored a career-high 44 points versus Denver on April 9"
